I Could Get Used to This

This was the scene in our house yesterday afternoon:

This was one of the first times Sam and Mollie have played together in harmony. Usually Sam gets territorial if Mollie lays one chubby finger his toys. Not yesterday. He played quietly to himself, making "choo choo" noises. Every so often he would glance over at Mollie, not even seeming to notice that she was gnawing on his beloved train tracks.

Good boy, Sam. I am glad that you are becoming such a nice brother.

I wish my house was that calm...my two boys want to fight about everything. I do have to say though that things are getting a bit better...looks like mollie might be crawling soon!

isn't that the best when they get along?! Ashlyn gets real mad too when Carter touches her toys...even if it's really his toys that she's playing with. But when they are laughing together and giving each other hugs, it's music to my heart!

hahahaha was this before or after you came to visit me?! I was sure that after all the running in the sun that he was going to be tired out!!! I am glad he was calm and sharing...or attempting to share
(or attempting not to notice)that his toys were in Mollie's mouth :)

so I just now noticed that Mollie used the bucket as a diversion and shield :)
