This morning I woke up before Sam did, which is a rarity. I walked into the computer room to check my email, and stepped into a massive puddle of Dixie urine. Thanks, Dix. After the pee cleanup Little Buddy was awake, so we ate breakfast and proceeded to do laundry/watch Thomas the Train for the next few hours. I am pretty sick of Thomas, and personally I think he has an attitude problem. Sam loves him, though, and cries "Again! Again!" whenever the DVD is over.
Following laundry time I made Sam a PB&J and he actually ate it! Sam is a picky picky boy so this basically made my day. After the sandwich it was off to napland for Sam. I got some painting done in the family room during the short hour he was asleep. Devin came home shortly after and we headed to Gogo's to drop Sam off while we got our 3D ultrasound done.
I was so excited to see what baby girl looks like and to get a good look at her face, but she wasn't cooperating. We have another 3D scheduled in about a month.
I talked to Dr. Erickson today about the risk of a VBAC and if it's worth a try. I really don't want to be doomed to C-Sections for the rest of my birthing years, but I also don't want to be dumb and risk my babies' lives just because I want to experience real childbirth. Actually that's not true. I am fine with not experiencing childbirth, but I really am not excited about another C-Section recovery. That sucked. I am most likely getting another one though because this little girl is measuring 3 lbs. 15 oz. at 29.5 weeks! That's large.
I just got back from mutual and from eating wonderful chocolate cake, thanks to Jennifer Tieman. That girl knows how to bake.
This heat is disgusting.

Flagstaff Day Trip
This past Saturday Devin suggested we take a trip to Flagstaff for the day. I love Devin's spontanaety. And it had been 3 whole days since we'd been out of town, so I was down.
While we were there it poured down rain and thundered. It was great. I think this was Sam's first time actually noticing the rain. Here is my blurry picture of him enjoying the break from the sun.

In other news, I reactivated my facebook account and I am overwhelmed! I keep getting nonstop emails about friend requests and walls and all this other stuff, and I don't really know what to do. "Back in my day," when you had to be a student to be on facebook, it was much less confusing. Don't be surprised if you are my facebook friend and I soon become inactive again.
I would post a picture of my 28 week pregnant belly, but that would mean having to get dressed. Do you know how hot it is?

Post-trip Let Down
This past week we spontaneously decided to tag along with Devin's parents and sister to Utah for the 4th. I'm sure glad we did because we had so much fun. I know I personally had fun because I am in a depressive state now that we're home.
I forgot my camera so this post is officially lame.
I want to move to Utah or SOMEWHERE away from this dang heat and brown scenery. The weather was chilly at times while we were up there. It was great.
The End.
p.s.
to see pictures of my darling Sam go here.
