Sam has recently learned how to open doors, and yesterday I found him in the pantry like this:
That dark puddle in the top left corner of the shelf is hardened corn syrup. Sam was actually all the way inside the pantry before I took this picture, licking the puddle of hardened syrup, saying "yum!"
Wondering how corn syrup had time to harden in my pantry? Yeah, the bottle spilled months ago. Don't judge.

haha! that's hilarious! and ironic because I just pulled out our expired corn syrup that I never even opened. (my weakness was the powdered sugar as a kid!)
That is so dang funny! Licking it!?! ahaha! And no judgements, I may have the same thing, unless my kids start licking it I won't know it exists!
