Ok so I know this is like my 19th post in the past few days, but I can't help myself. Sam and I made a video today. I am trying to make tons of videos for him so that when he's older he will know how much I loved being home with him.
That was the most precious, priceless, perfect video ever! It reminds me of a story that I read as a teenager called Unite Your Hearts. It was about a mother who wrote letters to her unborn daughter telling her how excited she was that she was coming into her life. She told her mundane things about her day/s and how much she loved her even having never met her. The mom lived only a year after the baby was born but she had all those letters for her so the daughter got to know how treasured she was. Tear-jerker!
Oh, that was so sweet. I love the part where Sam is watching YOU play in the splash pad. Awesome. You're such a good mommy. He will definitely appreciate this someday!!!
you know that when you have six kids your last child is going to hate you. I think they will all know that you secretly love sam more than them. oh well. i mean all of my sibling know that i am the best most favorite and most loved child. it's the blessing of being the first child. too bad the twins had to come and ruin my glory days only 13 months later.
i really like this video. I like your tie-dye shirt. i like sam's outfit even though he is probably sweating like crazy in this gay heat. and i like YOU.

I wish I had all this digital video technology when John was a baby! Then again, the memories are sealed to us forever, right?
