I didn't blog this on our actual anniversary, but April 19 marked the 1-year anniversary of my and Devin's sealing in the Mesa Temple. Little Sam was there, too- he was 11 weeks along in my belly. I remember thinking I was so big and fat already...oh skinny Allison. If you only knew what was coming...I always tell Devin that I love him so much I married him twice. I am so grateful that we made the goal of going to the temple and made it happen. I love knowing that the 3 of us are sealed for eternity. How amazing is it to be a part of Christ's church?
We are finally healthy here at our house, but unfortunately not before we spread our germs across the country. Grandma and Grandpa Gerber got sick a few days after our visit to Utah, and Grandma Barry is just getting over her bout with the stomach flu. We realize now that we should have just turned around when I got sick on the road...WE FEEL HORRIBLE. :(

allison DO NOT FEEL HORRIBLE. it was the best itme ever. and sam was as cute as ever. it really did fill up my happiness tank for a while. it will be low again so when i come in june you will have to fill it up again.

even if you guys got them sick, im sure they thought it was worth it cuz everyone likes it when you visit.

Oh Allison...I LOVE this post. I KNOW EXACTLY what that sister missionary is thinking that is standing in the back...is she one of the ones who was able to teach you?There is NOTHING like seeing those you taught go through the temple AND be sealed-AAAHHH!
Your story is absolute proof of the truthfulness of the gopsel. I was SO HAPPY for you too--and sent my SERIOUS happy and LOVE via the Sorensen's!
