Love/Hate Relationship

Sam is the sweetest older brother in the world sometimes. He pats Mollie's head when she's crying and asks her if she's ok, he lays by her when she's on the floor, and he gives her his favorite toys. Other times, though, Sam can be quite abusive. In the past 12 hours he has been in timeout 4 times for physically assaulting Mollie and making her cry.

Sam put his dinosaur (aka "rawr") on Mollie's lap while she was sleeping

Sam wanting to be close to Mollie. Just seconds later he was kicking her and telling her to "Move!!!" Oh Sam.

Oh Man! Poor baby girl! And she can't even defend herself! It seems like just yesterday that it was Owen attacking Sam...

By the way- the workout are from her book "Making the Cut" which is for people who are already "athletic" so I think I'm okay on that... I just have to pretend to be one of those athletic people.

SKYPE this weekend? I'm in the mood for some BARRY LOVE!

That is SO how MJ was, and SO normal. It continues until they start walking and can hold their own. Sorry, but at least you know there's an end? I felt like I always had to protect Josie from him. My biggest fear was him getting in bed with her and smothering her with pillows... luckily that never happened!

our oldest kind of got like that for a while when our 2nd was born. When he would start to sort of attack his sister our Dr. suggested setting aside his own special time. It doesn't have to be a lot, just something that is just the 2 of you.Sometimes we would leave the baby with daddy and go to the park, or grocery shopping. After a while of doing this he didn't "attack" anymore He just didn't know how to cope at 1st when he went from having all the attention to having to share with the new little beast that cries and gets what ever they want. I hope this helps.
