wow that was quick . i think i remember the phrasem yah we almost bought the trimmers but they were expensive and i just don't think that her hair will ever grow back the same. well, i guess we will see huh? and ps. i'm glad you did it, she'll be cooler, you'll be happier and your guests dont have to leave your house with hair all over! haha
we used to have a lab mix with a husky and I know what you mean with the shedding..... But my Chihuahua mix sheds and so I shave him all year round cause I cant stand the hair..it works .... and in the winter time he gets to wear a sweater :) I thought Dixie looked cute shaved..she still is a very beautiful dog !

Oh! Poor Dixie. I remember when Jordie used to get his hair cut, we'd have to tell him how handsome he looked so he didn't feel embarrassed.
So, tell Dixie she's beautiful and she'll let you trim her forever :)
