3rd car accident in 4 weeks. Is the universe trying to tell me something???
Accident #1 happened while driving to work- was rear-ended by a teenage boy
Accident #2 happened 6 days later while driving to work- I "tapped" the back of an SUV while attempting to catch my jug of water as it was about to spill (only Devin and Selena knew about this one before now...)
This morning, while I was driving to work, I was pulling out of my neighborhood onto cactus rd. when I was sideswiped by a minivan. The police faulted me, citing me for failure to yield while making a left turn. I looked both ways (I am extra careful now that I'm carrying my little baby in my belly), and somehow I missed a minivan. My poor little car really looks rough, now. The back passenger door is all smashed in. The little guys is miraculously still driveable, though.
I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father protected me in all 3 instances (this morning by far the scariest). Does anyone notice a trend of when these accidents seem to happen??? I just wish I wasn't so accident prone lately- because now it is more important than ever that I keep my body safe. My sweet baby depends on it.
So here I am at home, eating Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, reading the last of Breaking Dawn, wishing I was at work but respecting Sweet Devin by staying home (he said that it's my job to take care of the baby, and his job to take care of the both of us...so he decreed that I stay home to make sure we are both ok). So sorry, Cecily, for making you be there when you don't feel good. I hope you feel better fast and that the day passes quickly!!!

oh wow Allison! that's so scary. I'm so glad your ok. If you are a believer in bad things happening in 3's (which I'm starting to see happen more and more but Ryan doesn't believe in that) then I think you're done having accidents. it's scary enough to be in an accident but even worse and more stressful when your pregnant. I tried really hard not to stress while pregnant cuz I don't think it's good for the baby so I'm glad your at home lounging around..just in case!
I'm so glad you're okay! I hate accidents, especially when they're my fault. I think pregnancy makes women so much clumsier... funny. A time when we need to be more careful! SO FUNNY!
How nice you are staying home relaxing. I need to finish breaking dawn too, and then we can talk about it. You've read them so fast!
Devin's a good husband :)
Man, you are blessed! I am so grateful that you are okay. It really does make a person wonder what 'someone is trying to tell you.' I think that things only happen in three because of the layw of attraction...what you think about often enough happens! So I will be thinking "safety, guardian angels, peace and joy" in your behalf. Enjoy your book!
thats scary! im glad your ok!
Whew!!! We're so glad you're ok. That's really frustrating too.
Yes, take care of that baby. Good advice Dev!
i feel for you allison. i know what youre going through...
im glad the baby is ok. :)
wow thats crazy!! I am so glad your ok through all 3 of them! Devin is a smart man to have you stay home.
Allison!~!AAAAHHHH!! You are a great mommy already-isn;t it amazing how you worry about what is in your tummy first and foremost when something happens!!!! I am so glad you are safe and so glad you are NOT on our insurance (ha ha ha) The book is getting GOOD!---huh? Eat a PB cup or 2 for me!!!
Allison!! What the heck! I think we may need to ban you from driving until your little one is born. Maybe someone put a ultra sensitive magnet in your car. They are all attracted to you! I'm sorry you got in another crash. That is scary. I love it when I talk to you on the phone and you are yelling at all the cars around you. it's funny. haha. I still think you need to get that flag out the window of your car that says "baby in belly, WATCH YOURSELF!" haha i love you! I miss you! I hope you had a good birthday! Call me and tell me about it! I miss you! I still am going to get you a gift!! whoo hoo!
Maybe Devin should be your Chauffer(Spelled wrong) until the baby comes. Being pregnant makes us dumber, I think the smarts are all going to the baby, but don't worry, your brain power will recover. I am happy you and sweet baby are okay.
Love, Scottee
Ahh! That is so scary! I'm glad that you both are okay! Devin is so wonderful to encourage you to stay home. Hey, on a side note...do you have a bassinet or want one? We are selling ours, we barely used it, and we'll give you a smoking deal as a present. Let me know, Tiff
