Sam, Devin, Mollie and I have all been stricken with the flu this weekend. It started off on Friday, when Sam woke up from a nap with a fever. Devin also started to feel sick that night, followed by me the following night, then Mollie the next morning. When I woke up Sunday morning, I had no idea how I was going to be able to take care of the kids feeling the way I felt, so I texted my dear mom, and one hour later she was at our house caring for Sam and Mollie while Devin and I slept. My mom stayed from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. What a great gal! Thanks again Donnie.
When I was little, my parents would always get us little gifts for Valentine's day. I wanted to start some traditions of my own for Sam and someday Mollie, but this year sickness got in the way. I was able to give Sam his present though. Got to love that dollar section at Target!

hope you guys feel better soon! i work tues and thursday this week so lets get together if you are up for it! I also wanted to start a little valentine tradition with my boys. My dad always did stuff for us, so this year i started the tradition of me and the boys and ihop breakfast. it was fun...plus a little hot wheels car...they always love those!
