Working Girl

Well, after 4 glorious days off of work (6 including the weekend), I am back at work today. I am actually enjoying being busy and being back to a routine. Our new house is pretty cool! We forgot to transfer our APS account, so the power was turned off yesterday. haha. I was right in the middle of an episode of "A Baby Story" and it just turned off. Needless to say, our house was way too hot for a pregnant girl and a Siberian husky, so we spent the night at the Barry's. They are great!

Devin always shaves his head when he's hot (just like Pedro in Napoleon Dynamite). He leaves a mohawk in the middle EVERY TIME he does it and tries to shock me. Devin has some famous jokes that just never seem to get old (to him...). Another classic one is when we're in the grocery store, he'll grab a package of beer or other alcohol and put it in the cart, while at the same time clearing his throat so i'll notice. Oh Devin.

Well, I finally took a picture of my growing belly. 22 weeks along and massive already! 2 separate people have asked me if I'm having twins. Don't worry, I was rude both times.

I am so Amish in this picture. Our power was off, so I couldn't blow dry my hair (ergo the nasty french braid). I am also wearing one of my maternity outfits courtesy of my sister Becca. I have a feeling I am going to get HUGE.

Dev could pull it off. It isn't so bad. I love that he puts beer in the cart. I hear of husbands doing that all the time to their wives. It's funny that it's always funny to them.

I love your pregnant belly. I don't think it's big at all! Some people don't grow much their last few weeks and some a lot. You might not grow much.

Your funny faces crack me up. You don't look fat. Being pregnant is the best... just embrace it ;)

that's funny about Devin. just yesterday we were standing in line at Walmart and just happened to be in the cigarette line and Ryan likes to say out loud "Do we need any **** (can't think of what he called it) but it was cigarettes. It must be a guy thing. He likes to say that too when we walk by the alcohol.
I think you like using your power out excuse to wear a french braid...cuz didn't you wear one the last time I saw you when your power was on? :) I'm just kidding with you. You look great in braids and your cute prego belly!

I just saw your comment on my page and no, I wish I got $45 a week, it was monthly but I had to buy all my school clothes and friends b-day presents and everything else. So, that's when I discovered Ross and TGMax. I didn't get into so much debt that way. :) I guess allowance comes with the big family.

Oh Allison I PROMISE you are going to look back and be proud of your belly-it is NOT huge and the 2 people who asked if you had twins going on must be anorexic or never seen ME! You are tiny, tiny tiny (tell yourself that 3 times!!!)-you WILL get BIG...I can promise you that, HOWEVER, one sick day you will miss that feeling of being prego and having something growing inisde of you and will look at other pregnant women and smile! Ok the Devin jokes and how you react make me LOVE you guys! ha ha ha I love it. Yeah a BOY!!

Hey, I'd rather look Amish than FLDS.

That's so funny about him shaving his head like Pedro. We love that movie. You look so beautiful! Believe it or not, I actually miss being pregnant. Not the being sick part, but I think I like having an excuse for my belling being big. :) You look really great!

I am learning all kinds of things on these blogs. I never heard of "prego"-oh yes I have-the kind in the can at the grocery store!

I can tell you that it is true, some "sick" day you will miss being pregnant. Maybe that is why I had seven-the feeling of being "prego" is the best! I found that with each pregnancy I felt attached sooner to the little guy inside!

Now I too wish I had an excuse for looking prego instead of just being pudgy, under-tall, pleasingly plump, fat, overweight and my favorite...OBESE!!!

I am going to do something about it someday...

I love the braid; the cute, SMALL,pregnant belly (although I know it doesn't feel small to you!) and Devin's new hairdo! You need to hide the clippers...that's what I keep threatening to do with Scott after he shaves his head! Have a great week!
