Well, there really is no news to share after my 39-week checkup. I am now 1 cm dilated (compared to the 1/2 cm I was at 36 weeks), which is NOTHING! My doctor discussed induction with me, but I really see no point since I'm not miserable and there is no medical reason for it. Anyway, that's it. Baby Barry is in no rush.

I'm so glad you're staying strong to your "no induction" plan. It's so hard when you are this far along to still say no! I'm also glad you aren't miserable.
FYI- you can totally go from a 1 to full on labor in a matter of hours... so don't worry.

after being induced, I don't think I would have chosen that route unless I was past my due date so I think you are doing the right thing. you're already farther than I got.
Johnny will be so excited to have a BOY cousin born in the same month as him!
I was 3 days late with my daughter and she STILL came on her own....contractions and ALL...well minus the fact that they broke my water for me....but I did not get induced!!! So be positive and hang in there!!
I'm making a guess that your little boy is born today Nov. 6th Not much time left so start doing squats. J/K.
No plans as of now for x-mas...but I did talk to selena yesterday and heard her begging for us to come when she is in town like dec22 to jan 3d.....it is only 4 hours away...but then again Lana turns 3 dec 30th and then new yeas..so we will see!
oh ps..Nikki will deff be in Az for Christmas considering the fact her and her family live there now at our parents house lol. Guess I will have an excuse to see TWO babies..Nikki's and YOURS! :)
He came!!! and I can't hack in to tell everyone, not that I know how to hack in... but he is here big happy and healthy!!! I will let All and Dev give the details.. But I am so excited!!!!
